One return for orders over $75 within the US are free of charge. At The Root Collective, our products are hand crafted by various artisans, not machine manufactured. This will create uniqueness with each and every product, making it individual and just for you! However, if you are unhappy with your product or wish to return it for any reason, please return your purchase within 30 days from date of purchase. All items must be unworn and in resalable condition.
You must include the original invoice in order for your return to be processed. If you do not, we will be unable to refund your purchase.
Please allow for at least 5 days shipping time with your return and 7 business days to process your return. Credit will be issued to the same method used in original transaction.

If you need to exchange your product, please contact us at email@example.com and we will assist you. One time exchanges on shoes due to fit will be exchanged free of charge in the US on all orders over $75. For international orders, please contact us.
Gift Cards and Final Sales
All gift cards and final sale items cannot be returned or exchanged. Any lost items or those damaged by normal wear and tear are not eligible for returned credit.
If a product is out of stock, The Root Collective will inform the customer of any delays past standard shipping times as well as the expected arrival time of the product. All other available products in an order will be shipped in standard time with backordered products shipped once available. There will be no additional cost placed on the backordered product.
By law, items sold by The Root Collective and shipped to destinations in the state of North Carolina are subject to sales tax. International orders may be subject to additional royalties and tax to be paid upon retrieval.
Products are shipped using the United States Postal Service (USPS).
The Root Collective honors and respects your privacy and your support of our artisans. We will never sell, trade, rent, or buy information that is shared with us via email subscription, purchase order, or in creating an account with our store.
We may use your information to contact you via email, which you may opt out of within our email communications.
The Root Collective further protects your privacy by using a secure server. Any sensitive and/or credit information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) and encrypted into our payment provider's database. This information is only then accessible by authorized personnel with special access rights. The information is completely confidential.
